Environmentalism was a consideration in the design of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple continues to prioritize clean electricity across the whole supply chain and designs products using recycled and other low-carbon materials as it works toward its 2030 goal of having every product carbon neutral, from design to production to customer use.
Apple is introducing a new FineWoven Case with MagSafe and FineWoven Wallet with MagSafe, made from a durable and elegant microtwill with a soft, suedelike feel. The material is made from 68 percent post-consumer recycled content and has significantly lower carbon emissions than leather. In order to further lessen its impact on the environment, Apple will no longer use leather in any new Apple products, including iPhone accessories.
With a battery made entirely of recycled cobalt and an aluminum substructure made entirely of recycled aluminum, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max now utilise more recycled materials than previous models.
All magnets on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are made entirely of rare earth materials that have been recycled, while the USB-C connector is made entirely of gold that has been recycled.
There will be four different titanium finishes for the phone and iPhone 15 Pro Max: black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium.
The beginning pricing for the the phone, which is still $999 (U.S.) and comes in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage capacities, stays at $41.62 (U.S.) per month. Starting at $1,199 (U.S.) or $49.95 (U.S.) per month, the iPhone 15 Pro Max comes in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.
Pre-orders for the the phone and 15 Pro Max will be accepted starting at 5 a.m. in more than 40 nations and territories, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Beginning on Friday, September 29, the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will be offered in Macao, Malaysia, Turkey, Vietnam, and 17 additional nations and regions.
Both the FineWoven Case with MagSafe and the FineWoven Wallet with MagSafe will be offered in five new colors: black, taupe, mulberry, pacific blue, and evergreen, and will cost $59 (U.S.).
